Maths Programmes – Year 62019-04-26T10:24:08+00:00

Primary Maths Programme | Year 6 | Age 10-11

Bringing everything together to excel in exams

The good news is that much of Year 6 maths consolidates concepts learnt before your child reaches ages ten or eleven. But it can be a time of uncertainty and change. Homework battles loom and it can be difficult as a parent. This is where extra maths support with the Primary Programme can be so helpful.

Consolidating primary maths and preparing for new challenges

Year 6 | Ages 10-11

Our Primary Maths Programme for Year 6 is focused closely on the specific skills and knowledge needed by a 10 or 11 year old; the tutor will then personalise each online lesson for your child’s ability and speed of progress.

By Year 6 you will know what level of maths support your child needs. Your child is likely to be doing SATs or 11+ or both and it can sometimes feel that this is just ‘exam year’. Our Year 6 programme is not about exams (see instead the Year 6 SATs Revision Programme, available at other times of the year). Parents use our Year 6 programme to ensure their child is left with no gaps or uncertainties around the maths they’ve been studying throughout Key Stage 2. The result is that children graduate from our Year 6 programme ready and excited to embark on their new secondary school journey as confident, happy mathematicians.
