Our Year 7 maths programme is focused closely on the key concepts that need to be secure by the end of Key Stage 2 and introduces new topics that will be essential for maths success at Secondary School.

By now your child will have finished Year 6, during which they will have faced SATs or the 11+ (or both), but Year 7 maths brings new tricky concepts.

When you book, choose a convenient weekly time slot for your child’s lessons. The lesson takes place online at the same time each week. Just log your child into Matr at the appointed time.

What do I need?

You need a laptop or desktop computer, an internet connection and the free Google Chrome browser. Some children like wearing a headset, others prefer to leave the computer’s speakers on and talk to the screen.

How does the lesson work?

Sessions take place weekly. They include 5 minutes of warm up activities, 25/50 minutes with their tutor, and 5 minutes of cool down questions.

What if I need to change session times?

No worries. Just contact us and we can rearrange your session.
